Day 13: I'm thankful for God's presence in our lives and have help guide us to a new church. We attended the new member class and will be accepted as new members to the church this Sunday. I am thankful that we have been called to a church and will be able to start the routines for Eli.
Day 14: I'm thankful for the work ethic that my parents instilled in me. I hope to do the same with Eli. As rewarding as teaching is at times, it can also be very frustrating and disappointing to see how the youth of today act. I'm glad that my parents taught me the value of hard work and respect. School was always important and I am grateful that I live in a country where we all can attend school.
Day 15: I'm thankful for wonderful conversations with co-workers that are looking to better ourselves professionally and push the envelope on current practices. I definitely appreciate and am thankful for positive attitudes. It's hard when you are excited about explore new best practice but other people are so sarcastic and negative. I'm thankful to be on a committee that is willing to try new things to challenge our thinking and move towards what is best for students.
