Catch Up- Days 6-9

This is what happens when you go back to work.  It makes it challenging to keep up with things.  So far so good though.

Day 6- I am thankful for the ability to vote.  I was voter #571.  I may be more thankful for all of the commercials to be over though.  Living in Iowa during an election year is crazy.

Day 7- I am thankful for wonderful co-workers who helped welcome me back to work.  There were a few tears shed when I left Eli but he was fine.  I was able to keep my mind busy at work so that was a positive.  It was nice to be back and see those that I work with.

Day 8- I'm thankful for nights with Eli.  Being gone during the day makes me appreciate the time I spend with him even more.  Being able to feed him and have him grab on to my finger puts a smile on my face.  I wait all day to see those smiles he gives me.

Day 9- I'm thankful for the wonderful love and help that my mom and sister have given me.  Eli couldn't be more blessed to have such loving and caring people in his life.  It's great to see them interact and for Eli to give them such huge smiles.  My sister amazes me every time I see her with him.  She has just become a natural.  For a girl who normally steers clear of children, she is becoming the best aunt that Eli and I could ever ask for.  Grandma Fluff is getting the hang of being a grandma too.  Eli is facinated with her and just stares and listens to her voice.  It is such a blessing to see. I could not have survived my first days back without them.
