24 Weeks

Tuesday marked the start of week 24 and was also our next doctor's appointment.  This appointment brought with it the sugar drink for the glucose test.  I got there and was given the nice fruit punch flavored juice.  Once I finished it I had to set the timer for one hour.  While I was waiting for the timer, I saw the doctor.  Little guy's heart rate was 166 beats per minute.  The doctor I saw at first didn't say anything so I got a bit nervous because it sounded really fast. Then he said everything was fine.  This doctor is a bit different and I'm sort of hoping that he isn't on call when baby decides to arrive.  He's nice but just very to the point and sends you on your way.  Anyways, the good thing was baby is doing well and so am I.  I am up 7 pounds (yikes) from the last visit about a month ago but am still alright and measuring right where I should be.  After waiting for the timer to go off I went back and had my finger poked; I passed the glucose test!
