Saturday, October 27th Eli was baptized at the 5:30pm service. Although the weekend always goes fast, it was great to have family here to share in Eli's special day. He got lots of attention as you can imagine and was great for church and when we went out to eat.
I was expecting the worst when the water would get placed on his head but Eli did great. There was another baptism of a 5 month old and she let out a scream but Eli just did a little jump and no peep came out of him. He also decided he would sleep for most of the service which was good since we were in the front row.
Thank you to all who traveled to spend this special moment with us. The gifts we received were very thoughtful as well. Eli is very blessed to have such loving family. Also thanks to those who took pictures- I just think about getting him ready and from one place to the next so I didn't take out my camera. (These are the only photos that I currently have)
One not so good thing about the weekend is that Eli gave us his sleeping until 430-5 am and starting Friday night resorted back to his old ways of up at least twice during the night. That week was good while it lasted- I felt very refreshed! But on a positive, Eli is starting to turn over to his right side. He gets all scrunched up and ends up on his side from his back.
