Madison Visit

Since I'm not working, we utilized the fact that we could go visit my sister in Madison for a long weekend.  Even though the weather forecast had rain for the whole weekend, it held off enough for us to get in some great activities!  Friday we went to the children's museum which was a huge hit.  The place was full of buttons that he could push and an area full of water.

Saturday we were able to get to the zoo before it rained.  I think Grandma had just as much fun seeing all of the animals as Eli.  The giraffe and tiger were Eli's favorites.  The zoo also has a carousel and train.  Auntie, Eli and I took a ride on both.  It puts a big smile on my face when Eli encounters new things in his world.  He takes it all in and tries to figure things out.

This trip just makes me what to find new and exciting places and things to do with Eli.  He gets so excited.  It makes me appreciate the small things too :)  I see the world differently.  There will definitely be more trips back to Madison.  Spending time with Auntie is great and there is a lot more to do in that town.
