Eli,

This was a big month for you.  Lots of changes occurred for you and for our family.  There was a lot of truck and you were an excellent traveler.

You...
- were given your first haircut by Daddy
-started crawling Saturday June 22.  Daddy was golfing and I looked over and you just crawled normally
-went up north camping for almost a week.
-played with your second cousin Tucker
-saw fireworks, which you loved and Daddy kept you safe
-had blue moon ice cream and Loved it!
-went out on the boat for the first time.  We put some fish in the live-well and you chased them around
-went swimming in the lake
-rode with T-bone and Ryno who took us to eat at a Steak 'n Shake and again loved the mint oreo shake that mommy had
-love pancakes for breakfast and having been trying more "real" food
-played at the children's area at Valley West Mall
-love string cheese
-take steps towards people.  Right now we don't have a whole lot of space in the living room of our town house and you walk to us from the ottoman
-attended the balloon rally in Wausau on July 13th.  You were quite fascinated when they lit up the balloons at dusk.  Even mommy thought it was pretty cool!

Steak 'n Shake

Mommy and Daddy found our new home this month too!!  We thought that we were going to build in Stevens Point but then we found this house in Wausau.  July 14th we saw the house and went back twice just to make sure.  We talked about putting in a offer on our ride back to Iowa and we did.  July 16th they accepted our offer and we were on our way to having a new home.  Things are getting real this month that we will be leaving Iowa.  It will be a bittersweet day when we do.  You will now be able to grow up with grandparents in the same town.

Next month is the big one year...where has the time gone.
